The white I’ve been looking for! A soft, milky but yet opaque white, without being chalky. I found it! Essie Marshmallow. 3 coats here, and OPI Lights of Emerald City on top on the ring finger. But I like it more without the glitter accent (first picture) – white only gives a really fresh and sophisticated look.
Some cool greens for spring:
Stranger tides, a dusty pale green with a hint of yellow from the Pirates of the Caribbean Collection for spring 2011, by OPI.
Keep Calm, Paint On, a cool, minty green with silver shimmers from the Avant Garden Collection for spring 2013, by China Glaze.
Maximillian Strasse Her, a greyish green for spring 2013 by Essie, the Madison Ave-Hue Collection.
Mermaid’s Tears, a dusty jade green, also from the Pirates of the Caribbean Collection for spring 2011, by OPI.
Stylenomics by Essie, the Fall 2012 Collection. A dark dark teal green, with a grey base. Almost black. I’m a bit disappointed in this one, actually. Stylenomics is the one I had the highest expectations on in the fall collection, but this one doesn’t flatter me at all, although it looks okay in the picture. It even started chipping before the day was over.
This polish really surprised me. It’s a beautiful blood red colour, dark and feminine. What’s weird is that it’s a dark polish and sheer at the same time! When you look at the bottle up close, you can almost see through it. In the pictures I have two coats, but I really should put on one more. I’m really happy with that it doesn’t look black on the nails :)
In daylight, by the window.
Yay! My polish order from Phoenix Beauty Lounge arrived today! I think they are all pretty and can’t wait to try them on, but the ones I’m most excited about are the ones from China Glaze, ’cause they are my first from CG :) Desert Sun from the Safari Collection is the most fun for me, since I am actually going on safari this winter =)
