Finally I got my hands on this beauty – Poudre Signée de Chanel from the Printemps Précieux de Chanel Collection. It’s a warm golden shimmering powder that I use as a highlighter over the cheekbones and under the eyebrows. Hadn’t planned it, but when the sales person at the Chanel counter told me it was the last one, I made a hasty decision to also get the peachy blush Frivole from the spring collection. Chanel makeup makes me really weak…
Here are the best shots I could get in some really bad lighting…
My picks from Chanel spring 2013 makeup line…oh they’re so pretty… If only my nails could grow a bit, so I can paint them. They broke pretty badly a couple of weeks ago, and I don’t want to waste my pretty polishes on ugly looking crooked nails… Fracas, L’éclatante and Rubellite seem to be a perfect match.
I’ve been away from the blog lately, and been really looking forward to updating it. Today I got my hands on a real beauty, Rouge Expressioniste from YSL’s latest fall collection, Contemporary Amazon. I know, we’re over with fall and actually facing spring (I’d like to think!), but I’ve been thinking about getting Rouge Expressioniste for so long, ever since I first saw it, so I’m really happy about it today :) Here it is, together with GoldenEye (OPI, Skyfall Holiday Collection for 2012) and french manicure tips with Vertigo by Chanel on my nails. GoldenEye is really sparkly!
Another perfect Chanel polish is Vertigo from the autum collection 2012. A dark greyish brown (or brownish grey? can’t tell what colour this is) with mauve burgundy shimmer in it. It’s not black, and not almost black either. A very classy and dark polish, suitable for any occasion – sophisticated and sexy at the same time.
WOW! This green and gold metallic duochrome polish is absolutely amazing. It’s really eye catching and I got many compliments for it. Péridot is from Chanels Autumn 2011 collection. My sweet husband got this beauty for me :D
It’s impossible to catch the beauty on camera, here are some shots in different lights. The flash seems to fade the green, but IRL you can always see the green no matter what light you’re in.
Indoors, with flash.
