So ready for spring now! A girl’s gotta do what a girl’s gotta do, to make the spring arrive. Here are some of my picks for the upcoming season. Never tried Guerlain Météorites before, the pearl shaped powder balls in different colours. Is there a better time than gloomy February to try them out? Fortunately, Guerlain releases a new version of them, called Météorites Perles du Paradis, for their spring look. Estée Lauder released the Heavy Petals Collection, with five pastel nail lacquers for spring 2013. I went for the dusty baby blue Dilettante and the avocado slash lime green Absinthe. My sweet hubby got me Tutu, a milky pink lacquer from the Cherie Bow Makeup Collection for spring 2013 by Dior. Can you feel the spring? :)
Okay, get ready!
This polish is amazing. A. MAZ. ING! It’s so glittery and sparkly, it feels like your nails are covered in diamonds and stars in a clear blue sky. Love it! The only polish that made me look at my nails like this all day long was Peridot. This is Get Your Number from Mariah Carey Collection by OPI. The polish is with OPI’s new finish called Liquid Sand. I’ve heard some people don’t like the feeling of liquid sand at all, because it’s not smooth as a regular finish. It’s not as gritty as you might think, I was expecting a really rough finish but I don’t mind the bit of dry feeling at all, this polish is gorgeous, and it’s all that matters! Now I can’t wait to try Stay the Night from the same collection, it’s black with red glitters.
Some of my picks for January are from Mariah Carey Collection for Spring 2013 by OPI. I also got Planks a Lot (Pirates of the Caribbean Collection, Spring 2011, OPI), Gris Angora (Vernis in Love by Lancôme) and sunny yellow Spice Market by KICKS. Really curious about the new Liquid Sand finish by OPI!
Okay so this is an old one (2009!) but still – it’s classy, it’s midnight blue, and it’s reminding me of sapphires – Indigo Paris by Lancôme. Can’t understand why I haven’t worn this polish more. I got it when the Declaring Indigo collection came in 2009 and I’ve only used it twice since! I think it’s similar to Unfor-Greta-bly Blue in the Germany Collection by OPI, so I’ll save my money and not get that one :)
